Moran's Rare Whisk(e)y Event
A Benefit for CASA of Lancaster County
Here at Moran’s Liquor Works, we are continually sourcing Rare & Allocated Whiskey for our customers.
We have collected
40 different whiskeys and over 130 bottles.
It is now time to once again give you a chance to get your hands on these hard to find bottles!
September 1st - 28th, for every $1 donation you make to the CASA, you will earn 1 “chance” to purchase the bottle of your choice at retail value.
- 100% of EVERY $1 donation will go directly to
How does it work?
- Visit us at Moransliquorstore.com and browse the selection of Rare & Allocated Whisk(e)y available. Here you can load your cart with as many “CHANCES” as you would like, for each bottle that you are interested in. Once your cart is loaded with all the CHANCES you want, continue to checkout and complete your donation.
- You will immediately receive an email with your receipt, then a little later, you will receive an email with details about the online drawing that will be held Sept 29th at 6pm. Save the date and also have your phone charged because you will need to complete your purchase in real time on the 29th if you are the winner. If your name is drawn, an employee from Moran’s Liquor Works will give you a call to complete your transaction. If somebody declines a bottle that their name is drawn for, names will be recirculated and drawn again after the live event is over.
BONUS - for our most loyal customers you will have earned “bonus chances” based on your total points earned in Moran’s Rewards Club. We will contact you via email after your donation in regards to “bonus chances”, and how you would like to use them!
“Chances” and donations can be made September 1st through the 28th, 2021 and there is no limit to the amount of “chances” you wish to purchase with your donation.
If you are the winner, you will need to complete your purchase in real time, so be sure to save 402-475-8814 to your phone as Moran's - MY LUCKY DAY, because you will be receiving a phone call from one of us at Moran's Liquor Works to take payment.
Please visit Moransliquorstore.com for more information on all the whiskey that is available and their retail prices. The drawing does include names like Bookers, Old Fitzgerald, Old Forester, Michters, Weller, and more.
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) for Lancaster County is a local non-profit that recruits, trains and supports community volunteers who advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in Juvenile Court. CASA volunteers get to know the children and the circumstances that brought the family into the system and then write reports that go directly to the judge about what they’ve observed and what they think should happen next. CASA volunteers are the child’s voice in court. Funds raised will be used to support recruiting and training new volunteers in order to assign advocates to the children on our waiting list. In 2020, 116 volunteers advocated on behalf of 280 children or about 50% of the children in the child welfare/juvenile justice system. With your help, we will be able to advocate for even more abused, neglected, truant and ungovernable children in 2021.
During our first ever Rare Whiskey Lottery, we were able to raise $5,700 for Child Advocacy Center! This is important, because donations are used to help serve child victims of abuse and neglect, and their families begin the healing process. Thank you to everybody who donated through Moran's Rare Whiskey Event!
Thank you, Child Advocacy Center, for all the good you do for the children in our Community!

Through our June 2021 Rare Whiskey Lottery, we were able to raise $4,600 for Capital Humane Society! This is important because donations are used to help care for animals while they are waiting for their forever homes. The money will be used primarily for food, litter, medications, and even surgeries to help rehabilitate rescued pets.
