Did you know that September is National Bourbon Heritage Month?
Here at Moran’s Liquor Works, we are continually sourcing Rare & Allocated Whiskey for our customers. 
It is now time to once again give you a "chance" to get your hands on these hard to find bottles!

October 1st, 2023 @ 8am
​We have collected
​Over 25 different whiskeys and over 150 bottles.​
Bottles will be sold first come first served BUT the first 10 spots in line will be reserved for those that participate in the fundraiser for Fresh Start. 

So from September 4th - 24th, place a donation for your chance at one of the first 10 spots in line.
Donations for a “chance” at a reserved spot can be made at Moransliquor.com or on the Moran’s Liquor Works app in your favorite app store. 

One "chance" at 1st in line for every $10 donation. For place 2 to 10 one "chance" for every $5 donation. 
We will hold the drawing for the first 10 spots LIVE online Sunday September 24th @5pm.

How does the Rare Whiskey Event work?

  • Donations earn you a "chance" at the first 10 spots in line to purchase bottles at retail price
  • There will be separate drawings for the 1st spot in line and spots 2-10
  • The drawing for reserved spots will be live on September 24th at 5pm 
  • Limit 1 bottle per spot in line per trip through the line (the same person could hold more than one reserved spot) 
  • You must be present to purchase
  • No donation is required for any spot in line after the first 10
  • Any spot after the first 10 are first come first served
  • Doors open at 8am everyone in line will be given an opportunity to select and purchase 1 bottle, then get back in line if they wish
  • This will repeat until there is no longer a line​

Fresh Start of Lincoln

Fresh Start was founded in 1991 by a group of people who wanted to make Lincoln an even better place to live, and wanted to help those struggling in our community. Fresh Start has provided services to nearly 1,800 women over the last 30 years.

​September's Rare Whiskey Lottery raised $6,700 for CASA of Lancaster County!  CASA is currently advocating for over 200 abused and neglected children in the Juvenile Court system.  CASA, a local non-profit, recruits, trains, and supports community volunteers who are the children's voices in the court.  The funds raised from this event will be used to support recruiting and training new volunteers in order to assign advocates to the children on their waiting list.  This year, there are a higher number of cases than usual, so we are very thankful that we (including all Rare Whiskey participants) are able to help CASA's agenda in supporting these children.

During our first ever Rare Whiskey Lottery, we were able to raise $5,700 for Child Advocacy Center! This is important, because donations are used to help serve child victims of abuse and neglect, and their families begin the healing process. Thank you to everybody who donated through Moran's Rare Whiskey Event!

Through our June 2021 Rare Whiskey Lottery, we were able to raise $4,600 for Capital Humane Society!  This is important because donations are used to help care for animals while they are waiting for their forever homes. The money will be used primarily for food, litter, medications, and even surgeries to help rehabilitate rescued pets.
