My husband and I are the new owners of Moran's Liquor Works. We were very excited to take over this wonderful little liquor store and growler room from the Bahm family, who did a great job in growing the business into a beloved neighborhood spot.
Since we've taken over the business in November, a zoning issue was brought to our attention regarding our proximity to residential. This zoning issue limits our functionality in the growler room to "tastings", which in the city of Lincoln means we are only able to serve 5 one-ounce servings to any one person to be consumed on premises within a 24-hour period. This has forced us to temporarily close the growler room until we can get these issues worked out. There is no impact to the bottle shop, which continues to operate in the same capacity in which it always has been.
Our lawyers are diligently working through the issues and we hope to be up and running again very soon.

At the back of Moran's is a quaint little space we like to call The Growler Shop & Tasting Room. It is a space you can enjoy a pint of Craft Beer or a fine whiskey. It is perfect for after work, date night or just to relax with a friend old or new.
As well The Growler Shop is the host of many special events from Meet the Brewer to Beer and Cookie Pairings. We always have the newest beers to hit the market and every visit is a NEW experience. Check below for more on what you will find! |

Craft BeerThe Growler Shop offers 12 rotating taps of Craft Beer & Cider many of which are not available in package. You may enjoy a Flight, Pint or one of the over 350 Craft Beers from The Bottle Shop (corkage will apply). As well you may take draught beer home in either a Glass Growler or a Crowler which is an aluminum can sealed on the spot.

Whisk(e)yThe Growler Shop & Tasting Room offers fine Whisk(e)y as well. From rare Bourbons, Ryes, Irish and Scotches. Served neat in either a half pour or full. Try a Flight from our menu or customize your own.
